Abstract
SHS investigation development is considered from the geographical and historical viewpoint. 3 stages are described. Within Stage 1 the work was carried out in the Department of the Institute of Chemical Physics in Chernogolovka where the scientific discovery had been made. At Stage 2 the interest to SHS arose in different cities and towns of the former USSR. Within Stage 3 SHS entered the international scene. Now SHS processes and products are being studied in more than 50 countries.
Abstract

gaming, but its potential extends far beyond this. With the development of virtual and
augmented reality technologies, Metaverse has opened a new frontier for various
industries to explore. This chapter delves into the unique applications of the Metaverse
beyond gaming. It explores how the Metaverse can be utilized in education, healthcare,
social media, e-commerce, and more. The chapter examines case studies of successful
Metaverse applications and discusses the challenges that come with implementing
them. Overall, this chapter provides a comprehensive view of the diverse opportunities
that the Metaverse holds for various industries, paving the way for a more immersive
and interconnected future
