Abstract

In the 21st century, technology, in a real sense, is all over, and the children
coop with it more than any other individual. In contrast to teachers, students are being
elevated in a computerized world. For pupils of all ages, it is totally normal to utilize
technology in each part of their lives. Therefore, digital tools and software in the
classroom are getting increasingly vital. Traditional methods for teaching and learning
are, as of now, going through a change to meet the requirements of 21st-century pupils
and improve the expert practice of instructors. This chapter analyses and illustrates the
digital tools and software that are commonly used in school and academic institutions
along with the feasibility of accessing digital tools, and the challenges of privacy and
security. In addition, it presents some platforms to the learners that might be used in the
teaching and learning process, such as; Moodle-LMS, Google Meet, Zoom, Webex,
Microsoft Teams, Edmodo, and others.
