Adolescent Psychiatry a peer-reviewed journal, aims to provide mental health
professionals who work with adolescents with current information relevant to the
diagnosis and treatment of psychiatric disorders in adolescents.
The Genetics section of the journal Current Chinese Science publishes original research articles, letters, case reports, reviews/mini-reviews and guest edited thematic issues on various topics related to genetics.
This section is not limited to a specific aspect of the field but is instead devoted to a wide range of sub fields in the area. Articles of a multidisciplinary nature are particularly welcome. Submissions in the following genetics areas related to food science are of special interest to the readers of this journal:
• Chromosome biologyDr. Tao Huang is an Associate Professor and Director of Bioinformatics Core Facility at Shanghai Institute of Nutrition and Health, Shanghai Institutes for Biological Sciences, Chinese Academy of Sciences since 2014. From 2012 to 2014, he was a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Department of Genetics and Genomics Sciences, Icahn School of Medicine at Mount Sinai, New York City, USA. His research interests include bioinformatics, computational biology, systems genetics and big data research. He has published over 150 articles which have been cited for 6221 times with an h-index of 35 and an i10-index of 123.

Dr. Jean-François Picimbon received his PhD in Neurosciences-Neurobiology at Aix-Marseille University (Univ. Provence) in 1995, co-director at CNRS-INRA. He completed his doc and postdoc from the USA and Canada. He was an Asst/Assoc. Professor at DNA lab, Ecology Department, Lund University Sweden between 2001-2005, an Adjunct Professor at Agric. Univ. Gembloux, Belgium. Dr. Picimbon has received many international awards for his scientific contributions including "High Level Oversea Scientist" and "Taishan Scholar Oversea Scientist" etc. He is a Director at the Institute of Agricultural Microbiology in Jinan, China. Dr. Picimbon's research interests include: 1) RNA mutations and protein editing for new, functional structural subtypes, molecular biology and medicine, 2) molecular basis of insect olfaction and development of eco-friendly methods (ecodrug ORSA/Odorant Receptor Suppressing Agents) for control of insect sensory/olfactory ability, 3) L. bio-cocktail for cholesterol, fat lipids and heart diseases. He is an Associate Editor and an Editor in Chief of various international journals. Dr. Picimbon has contributed more than 100 Publons Reviews and international scientific publications, book chapters and conferences at the international level.
Dr. Jialiang Yang, Ph.D., is Vice President of Geneis Beijing Co., Ltd., and an adjunct professor in College of Computer Science, Hunan University of Technology. Dr. Yang was train in both mathematics and biomedical science. His main research interests include cancer early diagnosis, gene testing and gene therapy, as well as methodology development for analyzing single cell RNA sequencing data and integrating diverse data (e.g. genetic, genomic, transcriptomic and proteomic data). Dr. Yang has published more than100 peer-reviewed articles and book chapters.
Professor Hai-Feng Pan, M.D, is a professor and vice dean of School of Public Health, Anhui Medical University, PR China. Besides, he is also an Associate Editor of International Journal of Rheumatic Diseases; Associate Editor of Frontiers in Public Health and on the editorial board of Current Pharmaceutical Design; Academic Editor of BioMed Research International. His current research interests: epidemiology and pathogenesis of autoimmune diseases. He has published more than 100 papers related to autoimmune diseases.
Ping Chen is a PhD in medicine. He is a Professor of internal medicine, Chief Physician, Doctoral supervisor, famous Xiangya doctor, Outstanding Respiratory Doctor in China, and Director of the research unit of respiratory diseases, Central South University, Hunan, China. He is the Director of the research: The mechanisms research of COPD apoptosis and clinical research related to COPD. He presided over five projects from the National Natural Science Foundation of China, won seven provincial and ministerial science and technology progress awards, published thirty-six books and more than 200 articles of SCI.
Professor Li is a crop geneticist and breeder. He has focused on developing new breeding technologies and integrating them to produce commercial crop varieties. He has strong interest in transitioning from conventional breeding technologies to utilizing doubled haploids, molecular selection, genomic breeding and gene-editing. He is an international leader in the consortia to decode crop reference genome and pan genome, establishing the foundation for current genomic-based breeding in various crops.
Dr. Jia Zhang is a Doctor Of Medicine, Associate Chief Physician, Associate researcher, Master's Supervisor and Ph.D.'s Cooperative Supervisor. Studied at the University of Texas Houston Health Science Center for one year from 2010 to 2011. Now is vice chairman of the Youth Committee of the Clinical Oncology Cooperation Committee of Shaanxi Anti-Cancer Association. He has presided over or participate in 5 national scientific research projects such as the National Natural Science Foundation of China. Dr. Zhang has published dozens of papers in academic journals at home and abroad.
Prof. Napolioni received his PhD in Genetics in 2011, working on complex trait genetics. His interest in neuropsychiatric traits led him to continue working on Autism genetics, both at University Campus Bio-Medico, Rome (Italy), and at TGen, Phoenix (U.S.A). In 2013 he became the technical director of the Next-Gen Sequencing Core at University of Perugia (Italy). From 2015 to 2020 he joined the Department of Neurology and Neurological Sciences at Stanford University (U.S.A) as Instructor. In 2020 he became Associate Professor of Molecular Biology at University of Camerino (Italy), where he is pursuing his strong research interest in the genetics of complex human traits.
Dr. Chang Chen, M.D., Ph.D., Vice President of Shanghai Pulmonary Hospital, a Tongji University professor is long involved in thoracic oncology and translational research. To further establish the world's largest minimally invasive center for thoracic surgery, innovate the ultimate minimally invasive technology for early-stage lung cancer and promote it internationally. He has published 65 SCI papers as corresponding authors, with a total impact factor of 262, including TOP journals such as J Clin Oncol, J Thorac Oncol and JAMA Surg, with 12 invention patents and 8 provincial and ministerial awards. is research interests include Thoracic oncology and translational research.
Mingxin Zhang is a Director at the Department of Gastroenterology, The First Affiliated Hospital of Xian Medical University, Xi'an, Shaanxi Province, China. He obtained his M.D. and Ph.D. from Xi’an Jiaotong University School of Medicine, Xi’an, China. His research interests include molecular mechanisms of carcinogenesis in gastroenterology and hepatology cancer, diagnosis and screening of colorectal cancer, and the role of non-coding RNA in cancer. Besides, he is an Editorial Board Member of various Chinese journals and a reviewer of the Journal of International Medical Research, Journal of Cancer Research and Therapeutics, Archives of Biochemistry and Biophysics, Biochimie, Cell Proliferation, Cancer Medicine, etc.
Guo Fang Jiang did Postdoctor from the Zhejiang University, Hanzhou in 2001 and Ph.D. in Molecular Systematics from the College of Life Sciences, Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an in 2000, and M.S. in Zoology from the Institute of Zoology, Shaanxi Normal University, Xi’an in 1991. He graduated from Hunan Agricultural University in 1985. He is a professor in the College of Oceanology and Food Science of Quanzhou Normal University. Besides, he is a doctoral supervisor at the Nanjing Normal University. Currently, he is a Governor at the Butterfly Branch of the Entomological Society of China. He has a number of scientific publications to his credit.

Dr. Aysegul Kucuk is a Professor of Physiology. She is also the head of Physiology Department in Medical Faculty, Kutahya Health Sciences Unıversity, Kutahya, Turkiye. She graduated from Erciyes Unıversıty, Kayseri, Turkiye. During her training in Physiology at Erciyes University she was involved in behavioural studies. After her training, she continued her academic career at Kutahya Health Sciences Unıversity, Medical Faculty in Kutahya, Turkiye.
Dr. Ziqiang Wang is an associate professor at Shandong First Medical University. He obtained his Ph.D. from Tsinghua University in 2017. His great interest focuses mainly to investigate the epigenetic regulation in the progress of human diseases and seek to translate the mechanistic findings to therapeutic target development for advanced treatment options against human diseases.
Prof. Cui Zhang, Principle investigator, PhD supervisor. She completed her PhD in 2012 from the Institute of Botany, CAS and worked as a Research Assistant Professor from 2012-2015 at the Institute of Genetics and Developmental Biology, CAS. She was a Postdoctoral Research Fellow from the years 2015-2019 at the University of California, Riverside and later joined Institute of Botany, CAS in 2019. Her research focuses on epigenetic regulation of lateral organ development. Using rice, Arabidopis and maize as objects, she made many achievements in elucidating the developmental mechanisms of organ initiation in both eudicot and monocot plants. She has published more than 15 papers in international journals such as Development, PNAS, PLoS Genetics.
