Abstract

The goal of this review is to describe recent advances in metal catalyzed reactions and organocatalysis leading to α-monofluoro-, α,α-gem-difluoro- or trifluoromethyl phosphonate derivatives with a particular emphasis on introducing chiral centers in these compounds.
