Abstract

3-Nitrophthalic anhydride was reacted with urea and cobalt salt in nitrobenzene under N2(g) at 185°C producing cobalt-tetranitrophthalocyanine (CoTNP) was produced. Also, in this work, Cobalt-tetraaminophthalocyanine (CoTAP) was produced by reduction of CoTNP caused by Sodium borohydride under N2(g). Cobalt-tetraaminophthalocyanine-bondedpolymer (CoTAPBP) was produced by reaction of Cobalt-tetraaminophthalocyanine with chloromethylpolystyrene (CMPS).

Keywords: Phthalocyanines, tetraaminometallophthalocyanine, CoTAP-bonded-polymer, CoTAPBP, oxidation of alcohols.
