Background: Niosomes have emerged as a promising vesicular drug delivery technology due to their applications in the pharmaceutical and cosmetics sectors. Objective: The current study aims to provide a concise description of previously published data on the usage and applications of niosomes in cosmetics. It also seeks to conduct a thorough assessment of this data, focusing on their composition, production methods, and performance-related variables.
Methods: This review examines the makeup and arrangement of niosomes, with particular attention to their amphiphilic properties and self-assembly capabilities.
