Abstract

Preparation of benzimidazole derivatives have become the interest of many chemists because of the versatile therapeutic activity of benzimidazoles as antiulcer, antimicrobial, antiviral, anticancer, anti-inflammatory, analgesic and anthelmintic drugs. This review will describe the most recent research on benzimidazole synthesis.
